Welcome to sunny and friendly México,
upon your arrival at the Los Mochis International Airport, a host of our
staff will greet you at the gateway to transfer by courtesy shuttle to
Los Mochis (20 min), our gathering point to continue your Journey
to the Colonial Town of El Fuerte, founded in 1564. (55 minutes). Famous
also for been the legendary birthplace of Señor Diego de la Vega known
as Zorro. |

All aboard the
Copper Canyon train!! Enjoy American breakfast (around 07:00 a.m.).
After Breakfast Transfer to El Fuerte train station (15 min.). Around
8:30 a.m. board the famous Chepe Train heading
to Bahuichivo train station; the Copper Canyon train ride is an
inspiring journey that took more than 100 years to construct, called by
Readers Digest "The Most dramatic train ride in
the northern Hemisphere" an engineering marvel (as National
Geographic has called it) that will take you from sea level to almost
8,000 feet via 86 tunnels and over 40 bridges in this unspoiled
landscape in the 25,000 square mile canyons of the Sierra Madre. The 8
major canyons are collectively known as the
Copper Canyon, which is four times the size of the U.S. Grand Canyon
combined. The tribe that inhabit the Canyons are called
Tarahumara Indians. |

One of the major points
of interest is Temoris, where you can see three ascending levels
of the railroad. Arrival at Bahuichivo train station around 12:20 p.m.
were you will be greeted by the
Mision Hotel
courtesy shuttle that will transfer you to
Cerocahui Town (40 min). We check in and get ready for lunch at the
main dinning room around 13:30 hrs. Afternoon at your own leisure --
visit "El Tehuecado" or a
Tarahumara Indian
Girls Boarding School (try this visit in one of your 3 morning
opportunities), next to the Hotel Mision and the Jesuit Mission of
Cerocahui. Enjoy happy hour at 6:00 p.m., before dinner and try our
famous
Mision Wine, made with our own vineyards. |

At
7:30 am Enjoy breakfast, at a convenient hour we take our first tour in
which you will ride along a road -- by van or bus -- that will take you
to 7,500 feet at the Gallego Lookout Point to appreciate the grandeur of
the Urique Canyon, the deepest of all canyons. |

We go back to hotel to
enjoy lunch around 12:30 p.m. |

Free afternoon
for personal activities at your own leisure, we suggest
an optional walking tour to the Cerocahui waterfall or by horse
(tour last 2 hours 30 min), you will follow a trail that will
take you inside a canyon full
of beautiful local flora that leads to a magnificent waterfall.
Don’t miss
our happy hour at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy Dinner around 07:00

Breakfast serves at
7:30 am. You can take a brief walk on the town surroundings (church and
plaza) and at 11:30 a.m. we get ready to go to Bahuichivo Train station
(40 min) for the next leg of the journey to
Posada Barrancas Mirador Hotel at 12:20 p.m. re-board the Copper
Canyon Train this morning for another thrilling train ride with
beautiful landscapes, amazing views on the way, have your camera ready.
Arrive to Posada Barrancas train station around 2:30 p.m. were you will
be transferred to
Mirador Hotel (5 min). Check inn. |

Afternoon for personal activities:
walk around with a guide or by yourself. Be back in time to enjoy our
happy hour at 6:00 p.m. -- margaritas & live music.

After breakfast, around 09:00 a.m. you
will take our tour to the lumber town of Creel, see the plaza and the
charm that this community offers; then your guide will take you to visit
the Arareko Lake and the mysterious rock formations of the Valley of the
Mushrooms, San Ignacio Mission, after this exciting day we head back to
the hotel. Lunch at 14:00 p.m. Later at 6:00 p.m. you will have time to
continue your "Fiesta" with our happy hour Margaritas & live music.
Around 7:00 enjoy dinner at the hotel’s dinning room. Overnight at
Mirador Hotel. |

your return to Los Mochis on board the Chepe train,
one meal is included, so
you can have it at your own leisure and time (all before 6.30 p.m.) |
